Mac n' Cheese



Ingredients
7 ounces pasta, cooked and drained
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup nutritional yeast
1 cup water
1 cup soy milk
1/4 cup butter
4 ounces cream cheese
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon black pepper
bread crumbs

Directions
  • In a medium sauce pan, whisk together flour, nutritional yeast, water, and soy milk. Heat on medium heat until the sauce starts to thicken, whisking the whole time to prevent clumps. 
  • Once the sauce becomes thick, add butter and cream cheese. Stir until both have melted and the sauce is thoroughly mixed.
  • Add green onions, oregano, and black pepper to the sauce. Then add the cooked pasta and stir. 
  • Place the pasta mixture in a pan and sprinkle bread crumbs on top.
  • Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes.
